We executed the design of the packaging and brand collaterals for Ekaya Banaras. Carrying the legacy of 120 years, Ekaya is India’s first Indian Handloom Luxury Brand to illustrate a symphony of royal Banarasi handloom textiles with modern and spellbinding artistry.

A MIX OF LUXURY AND TRADITION

The idea behind the new packaging for Ekaya revolves around paying homage to the city of Banaras. From boxes, to price tags, labels and much more the packaging serves as a tribute to the rich cultural heritage of the city, blending tradition with luxury.

The standout feature of the packaging is the incorporation of stairs inspired by the iconic step-wells found in Banaras. These steps not only add a visually striking element to the design but also symbolize progression.

GRACEFUL APPROACHES = ELEGANT BRAND IDENTITY

The choice of an orange color in the packaging carries deep symbolism as it represents the concept of emergence – the idea of light emerging from darkness. This aligns with Banaras' spiritual connotations and adds a layer of meaningful depth.

The addition of subtle gold highlights to convey the brand's sense of royalty not only adds a sense of luxury but also signifies the brand's commitment to being a timeless presence in the world of fashion.
